Oleamide: Used primarily as a process lubricant or slip aids in polyolfins Used commonly in film applications, amides will migrate slowly from the bulk to the interface providing constant monomolecular lubrication .

Applications: Trilwax amides are primary amides derived from ultra pure Indian vegetable base oils. One of the industries most common lubricants, when incorporated into mainly polyolefins and other polymers they provide slip, process lubricity, release and anti-blocking benefits. Trilwax amides are non-corrosive, non-toxic and will not reduce physical properties of the host polymer.

 
Amides are used as a slip agent, anti-fogging or lubricants for plastic films (polyolefin) which can be used in food packing material. It is used as a dispersant in printing and dying. It is used in paper and textile industry for water-proof as well as corrosion inhibitor in oil wells. It is used for the  synthesis of organic chemicals and surfactants used in detergent, ore floating agent, fabric softener, anti-static agent, germicide, insecticide, emulsifier, anti-caking agent, lubricant and water treatment agent.
