CompAid Polymer Recycle Aid is a thermplastic concentrate additive that is added to plastic recycle and regrind to retard the degradation of reprocessing and boost physical properties. Added at 0.5-4% to the final compound it improves the properties and allows the use of wider spec incoming recycle streams.
Other uses for CompAid is to alloy incompatable resin blends such as: PP, PE PET PBT, Nylon, ABS, PS, and PC. If your recycle/regrind has contamination of other resins or foreign materials, CompAid helps alloy these resins and couple foreign particles to produce a more useable compound.
Trillium offers this technology in partnership with Ameriplas to provide the standard CompAid formualtion. However, some applications need some adjusting to optimize compatability.
